Many people think of biologists as weirdos who go to odd locations and study peculiar animals. Or that we only perform gruesome experiments on lab animals. The truth is that we, the biologists, study all aspects of life on Earth and know a lot about it.

Biology is a dynamic and multidimensional field that advances our understanding of life on all levels, from molecules and cells to ecosystems and the entire biosphere.
Biology is critical in a wide range of industries, including biotechnology, environmental science, medicine, and agriculture. It means that biologists know a lot more than other scientists because becoming a biologist requires you to study all science fields first, and by all, I mean really all. For my master’s degree in biology, I studied advanced mathematics, informatics, physics, bio-physics, chemistry, physical chemistry, paleontology and even latin language. I studied psychology and teaching science as part of my parallel master’s degree in education. On top of that, biologists study botany, zoology, human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, ecology, cell biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
Why am I writing all of this?
I wrote it because people underestimate our knowledge and expertise in all scientific disciplines and in life. We frequently travel for conferences and participate in work-exchange programs in other countries, which means we are well-versed in the customs of other countries.
I will go over each biology field later because you need to know how fascinating biology is and how it is connected to everything. For the time being, keep in mind that when a problem needs to be solved, the people who can do so are most likely biologists. We’re also more likely to be welcoming, and we’d love to meet you over a glass of fine wine, beer, or coffee and something tasty to eat. Yes, we are skilled at selecting appropriate foods and beverages.
