A person who made an enormous difference to the world has left his physical body, but he and his work remain vibrant and alive among those of us who knew him and for everyone who will discover his legacy in the years ahead.
I consider myself one of the luckiest people to have known Thomas H. Greco Jr. personally. Even though we never met face-to-face, he supported me during some of the most difficult times of my life through his donations to my blogs and his thoughtful advice. That was just who Tom was: a brilliant mind working toward a fairer world, yet always caring, generous, and present on a personal level.
Tom spent decades rethinking money, credit, and community, pioneering concepts like mutual credit and the Credit Commons (and writing groundbreaking books like The End of Money and the Future of Civilization).
His team recently shared a beautiful tribute and announced the Greco Continuity Project to carry his life’s work forward into the future. I will, of course, be joining and active in the Greco community for this next chapter. I’ve felt like a part of it all along, and keeping his vision alive is a cause deeply close to my heart.

His physical journey has ended, but his ideas-and his warmth-will continue to touch lives for generations.
Thank you for everything, Tom 🙏!
